Alma is a student canteen network in Flanders, Belgium. Their menu changes daily and lives on their website unnoticed - such a great meal-planning opportunity that most students miss. With a hundred other things to track, checking one more website isn't happening, so they either show up at Alma and hope for the best, or play it safe with something predictable like McDonald's.

So I built bot that scrapes the canteen's website and sends the daily menu straight to students through Telegram and WhatsApp, 10 minutes before opening. It runs twice a day, fully automatically, and includes dish prices. No app to download, no website to check. Just follow the channel and get a notification on your phone, like a message from a friend, telling you what's for lunch.
